Acoustic Virtual Reality
Our acoustics specialty team provides an Acoustic Reality Studio (ARS) that changes the paradigm for communicating acoustic information during the design phase of a building project. Clients can listen to the impact of their design choices, eliminating the guesswork regarding how a space will sound. Using custom architectural models, our Acoustic Reality and Sound Simulation software allows sound to be heard at the design stage so that adjustments can be made until the sound is fine-tuned.
Our ARS services allow us to:
- Supplement reports and recommendations with an authentic audio experience, providing experiential information for acoustic decision making
- Use our clients’ architectural plans to create realistic and interactive sound field models
- Listen in real-time, from any angle in the space
- Swap surface finishes within the model and understand how each option affects the end user
- Communicate the urgency of all choices using cutting-edge simulations before they are implemented
